Dubbed the 'Greatest Shoal on Earth', this unique phenomenon draws divers and photographers from all over the World, and the Wild Coast becomes the epicentre of this amazing 3-month spectacle as the annual sardine migration draws game fish, sharks, dolphins and whales into an extended feeding frenzy.
Drifters can offer you front row tickets to the Sardine Run, with our stunning Drifters Wild Coast Lodge at Lambazi Bay offering comfortable fully catered en-suite accommodation in a magnificent setting, and our four Wild Coast Adventure Camps providing self-catering rustic accommodation in en-suite tents under thatch. | IMPROVED CAPE TOWN-JOHANNESBURG via VICTORIA FALLS TOUR! | After extensive feedback it is clear that our new wilderness camp in the Okavango Delta is the absolute highlight of our Cape Town to Johannesburg via Victoria Falls
tour – as a result we have decided to pass by Spitzkop and to replace
this night with an extra night in the Delta. The Delta experience
includes a transfer by motorboat across the pan handle to the mekoro
station and then an extensive mekoro trip into the heart of the Delta
where Drifters have a private wilderness camp. The game viewing in this
area is exceptional and we will enjoy walks and mekoro excursions
during our stay here before transferring back across the panhandle by
motorboat.
