The comfortable Greenfire Desert Lodge, in southern Namibia is the perfect sanctuary for self-drive guests or smaller groups of travellers. Within the Greenfire philosophy of offering a unique experience at a realistic price, we encourage you to spend a few days in our desert Eden – game viewing, relaxing, and simply enjoying the remoteness.
Situated on our private 20 000 hectare wilderness reserve adjacent the Namibrand Nature Reserve, the Greenfire Desert Lodge is unique in that it offers a game viewing experience as well as comfortable accommodation whilst also providing a convenient stop-over between the Sossusvlei Dunes and the attractions of the south – Fish River Canyon and Luderitz.

This tour exceeded all my expectations. I booked it immediately after seeing the itinerary, and it turned
out to be the best decision I could have made. Our guides demonstrated exceptional professionalism —
always punctual, driving with great care even during heavy 'cats and dogs' rain, and consistently
checking the quality of the food we were served throughout the trip.
They also thoughtfully prepared informative materials about Africa to keep us engaged during the
journey. I especially appreciated that there were two guides on board; given the long distances we had to
travel on some days, they could alternate driving, which made the trip safer and more comfortable.
